• Motion:

  That Bruce County Official Plan Amendment Application C-2022-016 for Barry’s Construction and Insulation Ltd., for lands described as Part Lots 18 &19, Concession 2 (Amabel) in the Township of South Bruce Peninsula, be approved; and,

  That staff be authorized to grant draft approval to Plan of Subdivision file S-2022-030.

Community Development - Regional Coalition Partner - Southwestern Ontario Isotope Coalition

• Motion:

  That Bruce County join the Southwestern Ontario Isotope Coalition as a Regional Collaborative Partner.

c.

Corporate Services - 2024 Financial Management Cycle and 2025 Budget and Annual Business Plan Timeline

• Motion:

  That the 2024 Financial Management Cycle and 2025 Budget and Annual Business Plan Timeline be approved; and,

  That October 10^th and November 7^th be reserved to receive the 2025 Annual Business Plans and Operational and Capital Budgets.

d.

Human Resources - Gateway Haven - Nurse Practitioner

• Motion:

  That the Director of Long-Term Care and Director of Human Resources be directed to recruit one full-time, permanent Nurse Practitioner for Gateway Haven Long-Term Care Home and apply for the funding “Hiring-More Nurse Practitioners for Long-Term Care Homes Funding Policy” to offset compensation costs.

Museum - Collections Deaccession Report - March 2024

• Motion:

  That the items listed in the “Collections Deaccession Report for March 2024” be approved for deaccession from the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre’s collection.

Transportation & Environmental Services - Lease with Central Peninsula Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club

• Motion:

  That a by-law be introduced authorizing the Warden and Clerk to execute a 5-year Commercial Lease Agreement for the “Lindsay Tract Shop” at 4025 Highway 6, Miller Lake, Ontario between the Corporation of the County of Bruce, and the Central Peninsula Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club.

g.

Transportation & Environmental Services - 10-year County Forest Inventory With SVCA - Financial Request

• Motion:

  That Council approve funds from the Tax Stabilization Reserve to fund the 10-year Bruce County Forest Inventory in the amount of $157,000; And

  That Staff be authorized to enter into an Agreement with Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority to undertake a 10-year forest inventory of Bruce County owned forests.

h.

Human Services - Service Manager Consent 5 Railway Street

• Motion:

  That Service Manager consent to discharge the mortgage for 5 Railway Street, South Bruce be granted to Bruce County Housing Corporation.
